Day 01 – Airport | Sigiriya
We’ll be there to warmly welcome you at the airport and drive you to Sigiriya, located within the Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle.
You will be welcomed in traditional style at the Amuna Ayurveda Retreat where you’ll enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan Ayurvedic village experience. Amuna is known for its holistic and authentic, traditional Sri Lankan herbal experience.

Day 02 – Sigiriya | Dambulla | Sigiriya
After breakfast, you’ll take a short drive to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is an amazing experience as the temple is built into a cave at the top of a rock. The ornate artwork covers the walls and ceilings and it isn’t difficult to imagine monks peacefully meditating there through the ages. The temple is known for its air of serenity and the calming views from the top.
You’ll then return to Amuna for a relaxing and rejuvenating Ayurveda treatment.

Day 03 – Sigiriya | Polonnaruwa | Sigiriya
Today you’re in for a treat as you go on a sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll see the ancient ruins of a walled garden city, which is one of the world’s best ancient examples of a planned city. You’ll stroll through the ruins of ancient palaces, royal rooms and Buddhist shrines. Polonnaruwa is the history buff’s dream and will also give you a chance to stroll around the peaceful gardens and enjoy the peace of the woodland environment.
Once you return to Amuna, you’ll be able to completely unwind with an amazing Ayurvedic foot and head massage with natural oils and pressure point stimulation.
Day 04 – Dambulla | Matale | Kandy
Enjoy a leisurely drive up to Kandy, an ancient city in the central highlands of Sri Lanka, once the last stronghold of the Sinhala kings until the early 1800s when it became a British Protectorate. The city is full of history and has a culture that is unique in Sri Lanka.
On the way, you’ll stop at a spice garden in Matale, where you’ll get a chance to see how Sri Lanka’s aromatic spices are grown.
Today you’ll check in to The Kandy Samadhi Centre where you’ll indulge in a session of revitalizing Yoga, followed by a herbal drink and tour of the property.

Day 05 – Kandy
This is a day for relaxing and pampering yourself. You’ll be treated to a host of reinvigorating activities at the centre. Find your inner peace and tap into your subconscious with some mediation, which will help you completely destress and relax.

Day 06 – Kandy | Nuwara Eliya
You’ll be on your way to Nuwara Eliya today but, before you leave Kandy, you’ll make a stop at the world-famous Temple of the Tooth, which houses a tooth relic of the Buddha, reported to have been collected from his funeral pyre.
Within just a few hours and with plenty of amazing scenery to take in, you’ll arrive in Sri Lanka’s “Little England”, Nuwara Eliya. Home to arguably the best tea in the world, this hill station is one of the highest towns in Sri Lanka by elevation at 6,129 feet above sea level.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya | Kataragama | Yala
It’ll be an exciting day as you drive down to the Yala National Park, stopping on the way at the famous Kataragama Temple in Kataragama. It is customary to take an offering of fruits with you to the temple and your chauffeur will assist you with this. The temple is dedicated to the Buddhist guardian deity Kataragama Deviyo and the Hindu God of War, Murugan.
You’ll then proceed to the Big Game Camp in Yala for a safari park adventure.

Day 08 – Yala | Wadduwa
In the morning you’ll head out on a jeep safari. The Yala National Park is the largest wildlife sanctuary in Sri Lanka. So, get your cameras out and be on the lookout. The park is home to leopards, elephants, wild buffaloes, musk deer, mongoose, pangolins, macaques, jackals and a host of other animals, not to mention a plethora of birds. If you want that awesome shot of natural wildlife to take home with you, this is your chance!
Later, you’ll be driven up the coast to the Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort where you’ll indulge in days of relaxing ayurvedic treatments, along with some meditation and yoga, which will heal your mind, body and soul.

Day 09 to 12 – Wadduwa
Spend your days at leisure, enjoying the beach and ayurvedic treatments.

Day 13 – Airport
You came to Sri Lanka tired and worn and are now ready to return relaxed and rejuvenated. We’ll get you to the airport in time for your flight home, along with the sense of peace that you’ll surely have found during your trip to Sri Lanka.
