DAY 1 – Airport|Colombo

As you set foot in paradise, we’ll be at the airport to warmly welcome you and bring you to Colombo in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Once you’ve checked into your hotel and had a moment to catch your breath, you’ll be whisked off on a Colombo Tuk Tuk Safari; an exhilarating and unique way to speedily see Colombo’s most important landmarks in a single afternoon.

You’ll visit the Arcade at Independence Square, the Gangaramaya Temple and the Colombo National Museum. Your afternoon will end with a spot of shopping, leaving you to relax before leaving the following day to Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 2 – Travel to Nuwara Eliya

Escape Colombo’s hot weather and retreat to the cool climes of Sri Lanka’s Central Highlands. Within just a few hours and with plenty of amazing scenery to take in, you’ll arrive in Sri Lanka’s “Little England”, Nuwara Eliya. Home to arguably the best tea in the world, this hill station is one of the highest towns in Sri Lanka by elevation at 6,129 feet above sea level.

On the way, you’ll visit a tea factory to witness the labour of love that is Ceylon Tea. Along the way, you’ll also see plenty of fields, plantations and other scenic treats.

DAY 3 – Sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya

After a scrumptious breakfast, you’ll visit the famous Lake Gregory and the Hakgala Gardens.

Lake Gregory, which was previously left to itself, has now been transformed into a lakeside park with many recreational activities to engage in, including boat rides. Hakgala Gardens is one of Sri Lanka’s five major botanical gardens. Established in 1861 as an experimental cultivation of Cinchona, a commercial crop at the time, Hakgala Gardens is now home to over 10,000 species of flora.

DAY 4 – Nuwara Eliya|Unawatuna

You will now travel from Nuwara Eliya in the hills to Unawatuna, a beachside town on the sunny southern coast of Sri Lanka. On the way, you’ll pass through Ella, which is home to the famous Ravana Falls, which plays a role in the mythological stories of the Ramayana. You’ll also see other waterfalls and gorgeous scenery on the way.

DAYS 5-7 – Unawatuna

Enjoy leisurely days soaking up the sun, cooling off in the sea and sinking your feet into the sand. Unawatuna offers a variety of seaside activities and adventures. You can also, optionally, visit the famous Galle Dutch Fort, which is a short 20-minute drive away and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Unawatuna Beach is a wonderfully eclectic community that offers travellers a real “tropical beach” experience. Relaxed and laid back, there’s something for everyone in Unawatuna. It’s also home to the famous Wijaya Beach, where you’ll find the very Instagram-worthy rope swing on a palm tree by the beach, which has become an iconic setting for Instagrammers.

DAY 8 – Unawatuna|Colombo

After breakfast, you’ll return to Colombo and have the rest of the day to yourself. In Colombo, you can enjoy the atmosphere of a vibrant city. Whether you’re looking for entertainment, star class dining, immersing yourself in the local culture or simply shopping, Colombo has it all. In fact, you’ll find all the major brands at competitive prices all-around Colombo.

DAY 9 – Colombo|Airport

We’ll get you to the airport in time for your flight home, along with all the amazing memories you’ll surely have made during your trip to Sri Lanka.
